IAMZ holds the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education and benefits from financial aids of this programme for the mobility of their students.
These aids are in the framework of the Erasmus+ mobility programme KA103: Mobility for traineeships (work placement in industries, research institutions or other relevant workplaces) in countries participating in the Erasmus+ programme.
The traineeships are carried out during the second year of the Master, as a part of the Master thesis and in agreement with the tutor of the thesis, or at the end of the second year, for a maximum financed period of 3 months.
Students of any nationality registered at IAMZ can apply for these aids. Each academic year the conditions of the call are announced as well as the deadline for application. Students have to prove a good knowledge of the language in which they will communicate with the traineeship tutor.
IAMZ can also receive students from European universities. Students interested must approach IAMZ to be informed of the study conditions according to their choice, and the necessary arrangements for signing the corresponding agreements with their institutions.
IAMZ forms part of the Consortium of the Erasmus Mundus Master in Sustainable Management of Food Quality (EDAMUS), being one of the three partners that award the diplomas.
EDAMUS offers a cross-disciplinary (biology, technology, sociology, economics, law, etc.) and transnational approach to food quality and security. The education offer of IAMZ to EDAMUS students focuses on agro-food marketing and economics.
In the different editions, the percentages of EDAMUS students that have chosen IAMZ to attend the optional semesters have been:
Edition 2012-13-14: 72%
Edition 2013-14-15: 72%
Edition 2014-15-16: 64%
Edition 2015-16-17: 76%
