Zaragoza, 26 February 2025. CIHEAM Zaragoza announces the opening of applications for its international master’s programmes to be held in 2025-2027, for graduates who wish to train in key areas of the agrifood and fisheries sector. This year, the training offer includes two master’s programmes hosted at CIHEAM Zaragoza on the Campus of Aula Dei in Zaragoza, one of the main agricultural research complexes in the country: the 25th edition of the International Master in Plant Genetics, Genomics and Breeding (organised with the University of Lleida in collaboration with the Centre for Plant Biotechnology and Genomics (CBGP), ICARDA and Agrotecnio) and the 10th edition of the International Master in Animal Nutrition (organised with the University of Zaragoza in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Madrid and the Spanish Foundation for the Development of Animal Nutrition).
This year’s offer also includes two master’s programmes delivered at other locations in Spain. The 16th edition of the International Master in Olive Growing and Oil Technology will commence in Cordoba, Andalusia (organised with the University of Cordoba; with the collaboration of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development of the Autonomous Government of Andalusia; the Andalusian Institute of Research and Training in Agriculture, Fisheries, Food and Organic Production; the International Olive Council; the Spanish National Research Council; and the Fundación Patrimonio Comunal Olivarero). Alicante will be hosting the 11th edition of the International Master in Sustainable Fisheries Management (organised together with the University of Alicante, with the collaboration of the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food through the General Secretariat of Fisheries, and Casa Mediterráneo).
