The purpose of the IAMZ library is to support participants
of IAMZ activities, facilitating
access to documentation and bibliographical
information related with the content of the
training programmes.
The current collection is fundamentally concerned with the following subjects:
Plant
production
Animal
production
Environment
Economics
and marketing of agro-food products
Fisheries
and aquaculture
The collection also includes other more general aspects of agriculture and
natural resources. A large part of the library resources provides information
on Mediterranean Region issues.
The IAMZ library is one of the libraries and documentation centres of the
Campus of Aula Dei. Considering the existing collaboration between the Institutions
on campus, acquisition of library resources is oriented towards books and
other reference material other than journals, as numerous high-quality journals
are held in the other libraries on campus.
The IAMZ library is likewise one of the libraries and documentation centres of the Mediterranean Agronomic Institutes of CIHEAM, which also offer on-line access to their holdings.
IAMZ production is periodically introduced through the
library into the AGRIS data base: issues of the journal Options Méditerranéennes
edited in the IAMZ, Master of Science Theses and co-edited publications.

Includes books, monograph series, Master and Doctoral theses, course work, proceedings of congresses and documents of courses and seminars organized in the IAMZ.
