Papers applying Game Theory to development, natural resources and environment and showing the potential in addressing, in a practical manner, issues relevant to both researchers, policy makers and development agencies, are sought. Applications of Game Theory techniques and methods to issues in water resource management (including transboundary water), fisheries, forestry, land management, global warming, pollution, migration (domestic and cross border), and alike, are encouraged. Papers may address issues such as: (1) tradeoff between fairness and efficiency; (2) accounting for environmental values in a development context; (3) include consideration of globalization effects, such as climate change, trade, int'l and regional agreements, etc…

Process for Selection of Papers A 12-page (1.5 spaced) short paper will be submitted for review and selection consideration by January 10, 2006. Short papers will have all features planned for the full paper. Each paper will be reviewed by 2 reviewers and upon acceptance, authors will commit to send 2 month prior to the meeting a full size paper (<25 page 1.5 spaced). A template for the preparation of the paper will be provided in the next announcement.

- 15 February 2006: Acceptance decision sent
